For too long the Richmond District has been ignored by City Hall. The current Board of Supervisors seem to be more interested in political protest than implementing good ideas.
I am running for Supervisor to tackle the issues we face here in the Richmond District. I am concerned about the lack of coordinated planning here in our neighborhood and through out the City. Public safety, education, Muni and our parks are issues that effect our daily life but get far less attention than they deserve. I am running to change the focus of our City onto neighborhood issues.
I grew up in the Richmond District, walking to school down Clement Street and playing in Rossi Park. I raised my son here and my involvement in civic life grew out of my desire to help improve our community.
The Richmond District Neighborhood Center, which I co-founded has become an important part of the neighborhood. But I believe we need to do much more. As one of the first people in the neighborhood to raise concerns about the construction of “Richmond specials” I know the impact bad planning choices can have on a community.
Thank you for visiting my Web page. Like our campaign, this site is just getting started. But over the next few weeks and months please come back frequently and learn how you can get involved in my campaign and learn first-hand my position on issues that matter the most to our community.
